Imaging Biometrics (IB) is focused on delivering quantitative imaging solutions and therapeutics that transform how clinicians diagnose and treat patients more efficiently and effectively. They accomplish this by specializing in the clinical translation of novel imaging technologies into routine clinical workflows. 

Who does it the best? That question, posed to Imaging Biometrics’ co-founder, Dr. Kathleen Schmainda, PhD, in 2004 by an experienced neuro-oncologist, triggered a multi-year study that compared the most common ways to acquire and post-process dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) MRI perfusion imaging data. The results of the study proved that her approach was the best at distinguishing between tumor and reference (normal) brain. Based on those results, Imaging Biometrics was formed to make this approach available to benefit all patients.
