ENDEX
Transforms medical imaging data to a consistent, clinically relevant, standard nomenclature and supports a clinical content linkage across different IT systems.
Overview
ENDEX™ can turn inaccurate and incomplete study descriptions into standardized, clinically relevant labels, enabling studies to be accurately routed to the relevant worklists, post-processing workstations or teleradiology sites. Standardized descriptions can launch the correct hanging protocols and dictation templates with improved consistency.

Features
- Utilizes DICOM metadata and pixel data to generate standard descriptions.
- Works on XR, CT and MR data.
- Primary use:
- Display/Hanging Protocols -> standardized ontology
- Secondary use:
- Study routing to the relevant reading worklists or radiologists
- Correlates descriptions to billing codes
- Enables easy searching and querying in PACS
- Data monetization: ability to sell labelled data
Benefits
ENDEX is designed to help Teleradiology centers, centers with large equipment variability, research institutes and organizations working with deidentified or anonymized data. Expected results:
- Improved, clinically relevant, data quality enhances radiologist workflow.
- Added efficiencies to reporting workflows.
- Increased satisfaction with expected PACS functionality.
- Reduced network bandwidth and data routing.
