Company Overview

Cercare Medical was created in 2013 as a spin-off from Aarhus University by Professor Kim Mouridsen and Mikkel Bo Hansen. It stands on more than 25 years of research in perfusion imaging and post-processing.

Cercare Medical offers software solutions for clinical imaging analysis. The software solutions complement imaging-based diagnostic and clinical decision procedures in many diseases, such as acute ischemic stroke, neuro-oncology, and intra-cerebral hemorrhage. Processing and reporting of results can be performed fully automatically and configured to accommodate the needs for each individual user.

The Cercare solution offers standard perfusion markers such as rCBF, rCBV, MTT, as well as advanced biomarkers such as CTH, OEF and CMRO2 using a unique microvascular model for diagnostic visualization of oxygen availability, metabolism and microvascular dysfunction.
