CINA-ICH

Triage tool for detection and prioritization of traumatic brain injuries and hemorrhagic stroke.

output-ich-us

Overview

Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) is the subtype of stroke with the highest disability rate among survivors. ICH has a 40% to 50% mortality rate within 30 days, with only 27% of patients being functionally independent at 90 days.¹

CINA-ICH aims to speed up identification of ICH patients to facilitate immediate blood pressure control during the vulnerable first few hours of symptom onset.

Avicenna AI

Features

  • Flags and prioritizes suspected intracranial hemorrhage on non-contrast head CT.
  • Detects five types of Intracranial hemorrhages including:
    • IPH – intraparenchymal
    • IVH – intraventricular
    • SAH – subarachnoid
    • SDH –subdural
    • EDH – epidural

Benefits

  • Aims to reduce misdiagnosis.
  • Enables more accurate alerting, with less false-positive detection.
  • Likely to improve patient outcomes by:
    • Decreased length of stay
    • Less usage of ventilators
  • Demonstrated 91.4% sensitivity, 97.5% specificity and 95.6% accuracy²
