CINA-ASPECTS
Automatic ASPECT scoring to quantify the severity of an ischemic stroke of the anterior circulation.

Overview
The Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) is a 10-point quantitative topographic CT scan score used for middle cerebral artery (MCA) stroke patients. In clinical practice, the calculation of ASPECTS is essential to assess the severity of an acute ischemic stroke and facilitate treatment decisions.
CINA-ASPECTS aims to help clinicians identify early ischemic changes and reduce inter-observer variability.

Features
- Provides ASPECT Score automatically.
- Indicated for use in the analysis of non-enhanced head CT images.
- Computes a heat map indicating the probability of low attenuation and/or sulcal effacement in the brain.
- Outlines and displays the infarcted regions and provides a reoriented and resliced NCCT to quickly compare the right and left hemispheres.
- Displays a summary chart with mean Hounsfield Unit (HU) per region and ASPECT score for both sides.
Benefits
CINA-ASPECTS aims to:
- Improve the performance of less experienced readers to assess the ASPECTS of patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS).
- Enhance clinical decision making.
- Improve inter-reader agreement.
