#### Here’s the latest instalment in our news updates from Blackford Platform Partners.

 Lung analysis firm **VIDA** announced a new [strategic partnership](https://blog.vidalung.ai/osf-healthcare-partnership) with OSF HealthCare that will make VIDA Insights available to care teams across the health system’s Illinois and Michigan locations. VIDA also presented its lung health intelligence solutions at [LSI 2021](https://www.lifesciencemarketresearch.com/medtech-summit), the emerging medtech summit. Medical 3D printing specialist **Axial3D** unveiled new case studies, including a [fascinating interview](https://www.axial3d.com/case-studies/using-patient-specific-models-to-plan-complex-congenital-deformity-corrections-papvr/) with Jenny Zablah, MD, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Interventional Cardiology at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. In it, she explains the benefits experienced using a 3D model to plan a complex PAPVR case. Axial3D also [shared the story](https://www.axial3d.com/case-studies/getting-to-the-safest-surgery-plan-faster/) of a patient who presented with a hole in the ventricular septum, causing his heart to work harder. A 3D model from Axial3D allowed the physician to confirm the safest option much faster than he could have done without the model. Neuroimaging AI company **Cercare Medical** [announced FDA clearance](https://cercare-medical.com/news/cercare-perfusion-fda-clearance/) for its CERCARE Perfusion (MRI) product. The advanced, fully-automated perfusion imaging solution is now available for the U.S. market, providing insights into oxygen delivery and utilization using standard clinical imaging sequences. **MaxQ AI** received Singapore Health Services Authority (HSA) registration for Accipio Ix, Accipio Ax, and Accipio Dxg. Imaging AI specialist **icometrix **participated in a webinar hosted by Affidea on state-of-the-art MRI-imaging in dementia, focusing on how to optimize early detection and diagnosis. The company’s VP of clinical trials Annemie Ribbens, presented in AI4Growth’s [Health & Medical webinar](https://www.ai4growth.be/ai4-health-medical-may-20), focusing on AI applications and value-based care of neurological disorders. In addition to hosting attendees at its virtual booth at [ASNR 2021](https://www.asnr.org/annualmeeting/), icometrix also presented an abstract on the reliability of automated measurements of the hippocampus and inferior lateral ventricles volumes at age-sex specific normative thresholds. Finally, icometrix CTO Dirk Smeets presented in the [ASNR webinar](https://bit.ly/3ut7ON8) on the standardization of MRI acquisition in MS. **Stay tuned for more partner news next month!**
